Using ICT in other subjects is a statutory requirement in the UK. I’ve put links to the National Curriculum in Action site for some guidance.
For each subject, there is guidance on:
- ICT learningThis page describes appropriate uses of ICT for learning, with direct links to examples of pupils’ work with ICT. It also provides subject-specific descriptions of how ICT enhances learning.
- ICT statutory requirementsThis page lists the statutory requirements to use ICT in the programme of study.
- ICT opportunitiesThis page lists the non-statutory opportunities to use ICT in the programme of study.
- Hardware and software This page identifies subject-specific hardware and software that can support learning.
